About The Summit

The U.S. Embassy Nairobi, in partnership with Ushindi Empowerment, invites all AWE Kenya Alumni and other women to apply for the AWE Power Summit and Expo happening on 31st January 2025 at Kenya National Library, Upperhill, Sanaa Hall. The AWE Power Summit will bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and industry experts for two impactful days of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and exhibition booths. Our goal is to empower and inspire women entrepreneurs by providing them with the resources, knowledge, and connections they need to succeed in today’s business landscape.

We are excited to host this special event and are looking forward to all alumni applying. We have fully sponsored slots for 250 AWE alumni (T&C apply) and self-sponsored slots for women entrepreneurs who are non-alumni and would like to attend. This event is co-sponsored by a few U.S. and Kenya-based organizations and will focus on creating opportunities for women in business. Given the high-profile and purpose-driven nature of the summit, we expect it to draw a significant audience from diverse sectors, creating a platform for meaningful networking and learning.
