Martha Nzioka is a focused, determined, and hardworking psychological counselor with much interest in community development and social work. She is a part-time counselor at Arcadian counseling center with over 3years of experience. She’s a project manager for Beyond the Silence, an organization that focuses on Mental Health wellness. She is a trainer with Life Skills Promoters and a Core Business trainer with KIM’S (The Kenya Institute Of Management) and AVSI (Association of Volunteers in International Service) respectively. She is passionate about empowering youths with important life skills, core business, and psychotherapy services to help them improve their employability and entrepreneurial skills for self-sustenance and living successful lives. She has good interpersonal and communication skills that enable her to maintain good working relationships with employees, peers, and colleagues.
She has a higher diploma in Psychological Counseling from Serein Education Center and also holds certificates in computer training, Leadership, and character training from Scott Christian University. With the training and experience, she has participated in various service programs: HIV/AIDS Nakuru Initiative, leadership and personal development, communication and establishing value-based relationships, resource mobilization, and financial accounting. She is an alumni of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Kenya, funded by the US Embassy, Nairobi. A program that equips women with the tools needed to create and grow their own businesses. She is passionate about farming with over 5years of experience. She is currently the Production Manager at Wange’s Demonstration Farm where she practices commercial vegetable farming, poultry keeping, and goat farming. She is devoted to empowering and creating employment opportunities for women and youth to improve their well-being in the community. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on road trips, cooking for the family, listening to music, and participating in community service programs. She strives for continuous self-improvement and is always looking for opportunities to learn and acquire more skills.
